International Artist Day
International Artist Day was started in 2004 by Canadian artist Chris MacClure as a way to honor all the contributions artists of all disciplines have made to society over the years.

Commemorative Mechandise
On October 25th, 2004, International Artist Day (IAD) was introduced to honor the creative process and the artists among us who strive, often at great personal cost, to embody this inspirational force in their works and lives. These works—whether art, prose, theatre, or other artistic genres—give meaning, inspiration, and beauty to our everyday world, leaving a path for future generations to follow.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of IAD’s inception. To celebrate this milestone, we are offering our worldwide supporters a commemorative T-shirt signed by the founder of IAD, artist Chris MacClure.
It has taken many of these 20 years to generate interest in IAD, and without the internet, it would have been impossible to gain the world recognition it now enjoys. Artists remain the unsung heroes of society, and raising awareness is key to spreading the word. These T-shirts will generate interest and help promote IAD, offering supporters a tangible way to participate.
